The Challenge: The new MD wanted to involve the senior management team in a review of the business model to help set All Star Lanes apart from the traditional, tired, bowling alley brands. I was invited to help develop and co-host a 2-day strategy workshop to bring fresh insight and direction to the sessions.
The Result: The sessions reviewed the financial performance of the business, the wider marketplace, the full product offering, the brand & marketing strategy and the organisational culture. Together, we identified all the issues facing the business and many new opportunities. At the end of the workshop, the team had written a new mission statement and were thoroughly re-energized – clear about the new possibilities and looking forward to taking the business in a new, more focused direction.
